Claudio, when did you join Diaverum Italy and what is your professional background?
I joined Diaverum bringing with me around twenty years of experience in the IT field. I began my career in a small company, where I developed strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage daily challenges effectively. I later worked in more structured and multinational environments, which allowed me to expand my expertise in managing complex projects, implementing innovative systems and collaborating in international contexts. One achievement I am particularly proud of is leading a critical IT infrastructure migration that was completed successfully without operational disruption, significantly improving system performance and security.
What are your main responsibilities as IT Manager for Diaverum Italy?
I serve as the technological point of reference for Diaverum Italy. Together with my team, we provide IT support to clinics and offices, ensuring reliable, secure and up-to-date infrastructures. Our goal is to enable staff to work efficiently and without interruptions, optimizing processes through innovative digital solutions so that more time can be dedicated to patient care. Continuous training also plays a key role in supporting the organization’s digital transformation.
What impression did Diaverum make on you when you joined?
From the very beginning, I focused on gaining a clear understanding of the organizational context. What struck me most was the strong sense of humanity despite the demanding workload: there is a high level of collaboration across departments and a cohesion that goes beyond formal roles, which I consider a fundamental value for an organization like Diaverum.
What is your vision for the near future?
In the short term, my objective is to actively contribute to company projects by applying my skills while continuing to grow professionally. I aim to deepen my understanding of both the healthcare sector and internal business dynamics, so I can effectively address upcoming challenges and create tangible value for the organization.
Would you like to share something about your life outside of work?
I am the proud father of Bianca, who is the greatest love of my life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, attending live music concerts and traveling, with a particular passion for Asia. I have visited countries such as Indonesia and the Philippines, whose cultures and landscapes left a lasting impression on me. I am also a wine enthusiast and enjoy taking part in food and wine tasting experiences, which I see as opportunities for discovery and shared enjoyment.
