Gaspare Elios Russo joined Diaverum Italy in 2020, he is Medical Director of Diaverum Dialysis Clinic in Fondi (LT) and Country Medical Director of Diaverum Italy, responsible for the clinical aspects and protocols of the Diaverum dialysis centres in Italy.
Before joying Diaverum, Gaspare held strategic roles at national and international level. He has an extensive experience in the field of nephrology and dialysis technique and in the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
Between the multiple roles, for over 40 years he has been Aggregate Professor of Nephrology at "La Sapienza" University in Rome, he is the National President of the Peritoneal Dialysis Association "Onlus Enzo Siciliano" and Scientific Committee's Coordinator of INVENTA WIDE Ltd.
Gaspare has a degree in Medicine and Surgery with a specialization in Nephrology and Cardiology. Throughout his career he has published more than 200 scientific works and books on nephrology, cardiology, and geriatrics
